What can be reported
We welcome reports of factual errors, misleading wording, outdated guidance, broken references, incorrect image captions or other issues that could cause a reader to misunderstand an orthodontic topic.
How to report an issue
Email info@adultwithbraces.com and include the page URL, the statement or image in question and, if possible, a reliable source that explains the concern.
How corrections are assessed
A reported issue should be checked against the cited source and, when appropriate, additional reputable professional guidance or peer-reviewed evidence. A correction is made when the published page is inaccurate, materially incomplete or likely to give a misleading impression.
Minor and meaningful changes
Minor spelling, formatting or link repairs may be made without a visible correction note. When a change materially affects medical, safety or treatment information, the page may receive a revised update date and the wording should be changed clearly rather than silently preserving a misleading claim.
Image accuracy
Clinical and illustrative images should not imply orthodontic mechanics that are obviously inconsistent with the accompanying explanation. If an image is not sufficiently representative, removing it is preferable to keeping a visually attractive but misleading illustration.
